George Hoekstra is an independent consultant specializing in refining technology and refining catalysts. George’s company does independent pilot plant testing, laboratory testing, field testing, and market research programs for refiners and technology suppliers. His company sponsors the industry’s only open market, multi-client catalyst testing program to help refiners choose refining catalysts. George previously worked 35 years for Amoco and BP, has served on many refining industry panels and councils and has published many articles and presentations in technology and economics. George has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
