Jody Clark is one of the founders and CEO of Selerity Technologies Inc., which manufactures chromatography systems for use with supercritical carbon dioxide. She has specialized in Supercritical Fluid Chromatography using Flame Ionization Detection (SFC_FID) focusing on applications for the petroleum and petrochemical industry. She started her career at Lee Scientific with Professor Milton Lee at Brigham Young University in the column production department and has studied all aspects of the technology including, instrumentation and application development. Jody is also very active in the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) organization, developing ASTM standard testing methods utilizing SFC-FID, moving the standards through the publication process, and maintaining the standards for use in research and refinery laboratories. More recent involvement, within ASTM includes the responsibilities of the chairman of hydrocarbon analysis section D02.04, in which she oversees the activities of the sections developing and maintaining analytical methods of all analytical techniques.
