2026 - Graham Jackson

Field Service Engineer
Agilent Technologies

Graham Jackson is a scientist, expedition leader, and technical specialist who combines three decades of fieldwork experience with deep technical expertise in specialized scientific instrumentation.

A scientist by trade and an explorer by passion, Jackson has spent thirty years leading remote, vehicle-dependent expeditions across the globe—including the deserts of Southern Africa, the Sahara, Central America, Australia, and South America. His active involvement in the scientific community includes extensive contacts with explorers, archaeologists, anthropologists, and biologists, enabling him to bridge rigorous field science with remote logistics and expedition training.

In addition to his field background, Jackson brings 20 years of hands-on experience with Varian and Agilent micro Gas Chromatography (micro GC) technology. His specialized instrument background includes:
• Micro GC Expertise: 20 years of experience with Varian and Agilent micro GC platforms.
• Agilent Service Provider & CIP: Serving as an Agilent Service Provider and Channel Partner/CIP (Channel Partner) for micro GC in North America.
• Application Engineering: 10 years of dedicated experience as a micro GC Application Engineer.

Combining his background in analytical instrumentation with his work in remote field environments, Jackson is a Member National (MN14) of the Explorers Club, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a member of the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa, and an NPTC-certified assessor for off-road driving and recovery.
