Scott received his BS in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009 and his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 2013. He spent 8 years working in the petroleum industry as a GC chemist in a refinery quality control lab and as a GC and GCxGC research chemist in R&D. Scott joined Agilent Technologies in 2021 and is an Applications Chemist in the Gas Phase Division in Wilmington, Delaware. His current work is focused on GC applications supporting conventional and renewable fuels, and the emerging GCxGC applications landscape.
