· Xiangqiu (Sam) Liang - has been working in commercial/public laboratory for thirty-seven years. entrepreneurial skills during the startup and the subsequent expansion phase of an analytical lab and oil/gas research labs, leading analytical method research & development in ultra-trace analysis based on isotope dilution, using high-resolution gas chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRGC-HRMS), Set up USEPA, USFDA, ASTM and UOP methods using GC, GC/MS, IC, HPLC-MS and Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry(IRMS) in oil/gas hydraulic fracturing application and corrosion inhibitors study. Overseeing the City of Houston wastewater organic analytical operations, with a focus on detecting and quantifying organic contaminants. Expertise in liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to optimize, improve and validate the EPA1633A/EPA533 PFAS methods to ensure high accuracy, reproducibility, and robustness in measuring ultra-trace PFAS in source water and wastewater matrices.
