Dr. Atsushi Watanabe received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Hajime Ohtani. He is currently President of Frontier Laboratories, Ltd., and Guest Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Tohoku University. His research focuses on analytical pyrolysis techniques (Py-GC/MS) for polymer characterization and microplastics analysis, as well as the development of advanced analytical instrumentation.
