2026 - Sayantani Sikder
Postdoctoral Associate
Stony Brook University

Sayantani (Sikdar) is an Applications Scientist at ChemCubed LLC in New York, where she applies analytical and spectroscopic methods to support formulation chemistry, scale-up, and client-facing technical programs for UV-curable materials and printed electronics. She has extensive hands-on experience with FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and UHV-IRRAS, developed through doctoral research at Brookhaven National Laboratory's Center for Functional Nanomaterials, where she studied transient surface reaction kinetics on catalytic surfaces. This foundation in vibrational and mass spectroscopic characterization directly informs her current work at the intersection of AI and spectroscopy — including Raman, FTIR, NIR, UV-Vis, and XPS — a focus she explores further in her ongoing conference research. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering & Materials Science from Stony Brook University, and is a member of AVS, MRS, and ACS.
