2026 - Paul Matera
Senior Manager of Accreditation
ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB)
Paul Matera currently leads the Inspection Body program for ANAB. He brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry as an Inspector, Lab Manager, Quality Manager, Construction Manager and General Contractor. Before joining the ANAB staff as a Sr. Accreditation Manager, he provided assessment services to several different accreditation bodies and industry groups, as well as consulting services for companies in many different industries that wished to get accredited. Paul is a Committee Member and Task Leader on the ISO/IEC 17020:2026 standard writing committee that has met for the past several years at ISO in Geneva, Switzerland. Paul has also been asked to launch ISO/IEC 17020:2026 with the new Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (successor to ILAC / IAF). Paul is also the current Chair of the Inspection Committee (TC2) and an Executive Committee Member.
