Product Coordinator – Molecular Spectroscopy

Liang Zhao received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California at Riverside in 2002. As a postdoctoral scholar in the California Institute of Technology and then the University of Texas at Dallas his research focused on utilizing ultrafast laser spectroscopy and other spectroscopic techniques on various molecular systems. In 2017 he joined Shimadzu Scientific Instruments and is currently Product Coordinator in the molecular spectroscopy group. His work supports marketing and support activities for multiple spectroscopic product lines, including UV-Vis, FTIR, fluorescence spectrophotometers and FTIR/ Raman microscopes.
