Evgenia Barannikova, Ph.D., is an Assistant Product Manager at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments. She earned her doctoral degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, focusing on the synthesis of bio-templated nanostructured materials for energy applications. In addition to innovative and dynamic product marketing for liquid chromatography technologies, Evgenia also has a passion for teaching. This was cultivated while instructing undergraduate-level analytical and instrumental chemistry labs. In this role, she trained students to use a range of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, and ICP-MS and carries into her current marketing endeavors.
