Wali Alam has a MS in Engineering, and has held certifications as CQE, CQA, Regd. Lead Auditor. He has run Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Systems. He is an active Lead Auditor, Trainer, Consultant, since 1992. Since 1994, Wali has been running the Quality Institute of America (QIA). QIA is headquartered in Houston and offers consulting, Training, Auditing, and Management System Software, and has helped more than 500 clients. Wali has been very active in leadership roles with professional societies, starting with AIIE, APICS and ASQ. He has spoken in several national (US) and international conferences, and authored numerous articles.
