Wali Alam has a MS in Engineering, and has been certified as CQE, CQA, Regd. Lead Auditor. He has run Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Systems. He has been an active Lead Auditor, Trainer, Consultant, since 1992. Since 1994, Wali runs the Quality Institute of America (QIA). QIA offers consulting, Training, Auditing, and Management System Software, and has helped more than 500 clients. Wali has been very active in leadership roles with professional societies, starting with AIIE, APICS and ASQ. He has spoken at several national (US) and international conferences, and authored numerous articles.
