Alan Cummings is a Senior R&D Analytical Chemist at Lummus Technology in Pasadena, Texas. Alan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Houston Clear Lake, Clear Lake Texas. He has over 34 years’ experience in analytical chemistry testing, method development, including 23 years in Sulfur Chemiluminescence Detector (SCD) testing. He is employed by Lummus Technology for the past 23 years. He supports all analytical needs for Lummus Technologies R&D facility and its customers including sulfur speciation, titrations, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC-ICP-MS, digestions, LIMS/CDS, GC analysis and method development.
