Pauline Nguyen is a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Houston, majoring in environmental science. She is a research assistant at the UH Center for Petroleum Geochemistry, and her research focuses on soil as a long-term carbon storage tank. She also volunteers in an ecology lab focusing on long-term wetland and mangrove research.
