For the last 25 years, Dr. Polite has taught chromatography to more than 14,000 satisfied scientists around the world, including employees from every major pharmaceutical, chemical, and petroleum company in the US, along with most of the larger government labs (DEA, EPA, FDA, DOD, Homeland Security, etc.). Lee received his PhD in chromatography from Virginia Tech under the direction of Professor Harold McNair. Dr. Polite spent 9 years as a research scientist and group leader for a major petrochemical company before starting Axion Analytical Labs and Axion Training Institute in Chicago, where he and his staff teach week-long hands-on HPLC and GC courses. Axion is also the sole provider of hands-on HPLC/UPLC and GC courses to the American Chemical Society (ACS), where Dr. Polite serves as their National Instructor of Chromatography.
