2022 - Zhanfei Liu

Dr. Zhanfei Liu received both B.S. and M.S. from Xiamen University, China, and Ph.D. in Coastal Oceanography in 2006 from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He then spent 3 years at Old Dominion University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. In 2009, he joined UTMSI as an Assistant Professor, and is currently an Associate Professor. Dr. Liu’s research focuses on understanding sources, transformation and fates of natural and anthropogenic organic matter in aquatic environments.
