Kirk Chassaniol is currently a technical leader in the Ion Chromatography (IC) field support group within the North American Centers of Excellence. He began using Ion Chromatography at Exxon Production Research in support of enhanced oil recovery projects. Beginning with Dionex Corporation in 1989 and now Thermofisher, he has been involved in IC application and customer support in sales and marketing roles. He has assisted with the development of IC methods/standards for determination of chloride and sulfate in ethanol, determination of cations in hydrogen cell feed gas and methods using combustion IC within the ASTM D02 and D03 subcommittees.
