Infometrix

Brian started with Infometrix in 1983 and became President and CEO in 1985.  He steered Infometrix into position as the dominant independent supplier of pattern recognition technology to analytical instrument companies.  His experience prior to Infometrix was in the petroleum business as a research scientist managing the chromatography group, as an exploration geologist, and as the Manager of Planning and Budget for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has been on the board of directors of several instrument companies and organizes quality control systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, chemical, petroleum, and service organizations.  His expertise is in the integration of multivariate data processing for a variety of analytical instrument methods. Brian holds a B.S. in chemistry from Harvey Mudd College, a Ph.D. in organic geochemistry from UCLA, and an MBA, University of Washington.  50 publications cover topics in chemistry, informatics, analytical instrument systems, process control, petroleum exploration, and chemometrics. He was awarded the Instrument Society of America's highest honor for Technology Achievement in 2016.
