Mike has been active in the area of Particle Characterization for over 28 years. He has a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Iowa State University. His first industrial experience was with Air Products and Chemicals as a Senior Principal Research Chemist. His next assignment was with Micromeritics in a marketing position for Particle Sizing Products. In 1986 he left Micromeritics to join Horiba Instruments as the Sales Manager for Laboratory Products. In 1989 he moved up to the position of Director of Laboratory Products. Since 1995 he has been the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for this Department. Mike has written numerous papers on the subject of Particle Size Analysis. He has given many technical talks and seminars on the subject of Particle Characterization. He is currently a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Society for Testing and Materials and the International Standards Organization.
