Advancing Industrial Fuel Analysis with Next-Generation GC Technology

Abstract:
The latest addition to Shimadzu GC technology introduces new capabilities and efficiencies in gas analysis for industrial fuel applications. A newly developed Multi Mode Injection (MMI) port and automated gaseous sample introduction improve repeatability and throughput. Enhanced TCD and FID detectors give next generation sensitivity while maintaining large dynamic range. These features specifically capture industrial fuel analytes at their relevant concentration regimes. Additionally, cost-saving operating features such as Eco Idling and innovative mobile tank-less GC solutions provide improved overall operational efficiency. Featured applications demonstrate simultaneous measurement of permanent gases and hydrocarbons; hydrogen fuel; process gas characterization; and the analysis of alternative fuels such as biodiesel.
