Faster, Smarter Ion Chromatography: Highly Efficient Analysis Across Industrial Matrices

Abstract:
Ion chromatography (IC) provides sensitive, selective analysis of charged species in complex industrial and environmental matrices. This presentation highlights a new and highly efficient Nexera IC platform with key features such as optional dual-channel, automated dilution, eluent preparation, data review, and system diagnostics that improve analysis speed and reliability; especially for routine laboratory testing. Real-world relevant applications for wastewater, bioethanol, engine coolant, and drinking water analysis in accordance with ASTM D6919, ASTM D7319, ASTM D5827, and EPA Method 300.1 are demonstrated. Finally, practical strategies for managing high analyte concentrations and matrix interference will be discussed.
