Abstract:

Collision gases are most effective when combined with Kinetic Energy Discrimination (KED) to either exclude the interference based on size, or to physically break apart the polyatomic via collisional induced dissociation (CID). Reaction gases become useful when either KED or CID are ineffective or simply insufficient at mitigating the interference. During this presentation we will introduce the Dual-Cell System (DCS), Advanced Helium Mode (AHM), and other innovations on the Agilent 9500 ICP-QQQ platform.
