Abstract:
Reliable trace metal determination is essential for environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and public health protection. This poster highlights a comprehensive analytical workflow integrating Inductively Coupled Plasma–Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) for trace element analysis in environmental water and soil samples. Method optimization included sample digestion, calibration verification, quality control, and instrument performance evaluation to ensure robust analytical accuracy across diverse matrices. ICP-OES provided efficient multi-element screening, while AAS delivered high-sensitivity analysis for selected trace metals. Together, these complementary techniques strengthen analytical confidence, improve laboratory throughput, and provide high-quality data to support environmental monitoring and evidence-based decision-making.
