Industrial landfill leachate is a challenging matrix for PFAS analysis because high solids, dissolved salts, and organic matter can affect extraction, LC–MS/MS response, and recovery consistency. This study evaluated practical EPA Method 1633A workflow controls for PFAS measurement in leachate, with emphasis on dilution, SPE operability, internal-standard behavior, final-extract filtration, and extract stability over time. Automated SPE with inline filtration and anti-clogging measures was used to improve sample handling, while dilution was assessed as a tool to reduce matrix suppression and improve recovery behavior. In addition, paired filtered and unfiltered final extracts were compared over time to determine whether filtration affects reported PFAS concentrations or improves extract cleanliness without introducing bias. Overall, the work supports matrix-adaptive implementation of EPA Method 1633A for complex leachates and provides practical guidance for improving data reliability in routine PFAS analysis.
