Abstract:
The efficiency and longevity of mechanical systems are profoundly influenced by the performance of lubricants under operational conditions. This poster examines the tribological behavior of lubricants in service, providing critical insights into their performance under varying conditions. Through experimental studies, laboratory results, and field observations, the poster explores the factors affecting friction, wear, and lubricant degradation. By analyzing the impact of operational conditions, material properties, and environmental factors on tribological performance, this research underscores the essential role of lubrication strategies in reducing wear, lowering energy consumption, and extending machinery lifespan. The findings enable engineers to make informed decisions on lubricant selection, application methods, and preventive maintenance schedules. Ultimately, this poster aims to enhance the understanding and application of tribological principles to improve machinery reliability, efficiency, and sustainability across multiple industrial sectors.
