Abstract:
Gas chromatography Vacuum UltraViolet spectroscopy (GC-VUV) is fairly new to our industry. The first bench top detector was available in 2014. Since then, many ASTM methods have been developed and continue to be added. This presentation will be comparing the three GC-VUV detectors that we use at Lummus Technology. We will include the current ASTM methodology and also some enhanced detections for pyrolysis oil and other samples that can be challenging.
