Abstract:
A user group focussed on the benefits of monitoring and controlling free residual chlorine at ultra low levels. Mainly the discussion will be focussed on applications in RO feedwater and permitted wastewater discharge. Previous to the introduction of new equipment from Hach, the monitoring of free chlorine at levels less than 3-4 ppm was dubious and unreliable. Now we have the ability to monitor for free chlorine online and continuously with a low limit of 8 ppb. We will discuss the application of this new technology and how it may benefit you operations.
