Abstract:
The hottest topic in gas chromatography today is not multidimensional GC, ultra-fast GC, or new detectors. It is the helium supply problems and price increases impacting analytical chemists’ ability to run their current GC methods. This presentation will discuss new approaches to getting optimal GC and GC/MS performance using alternative carrier gases, but when helium is required, new technologies to continue helium use with automated conservation.
