Abstract:
The LUMA™ Programmable Vacuum Ultraviolet Detector has been developed to provide a balance between sensitivity, selectivity, universality, and ease of use when compared to traditional GC detectors. The LUMA™ can be easily incorporated into existing sample analysis schemes where detectors such as FID, TCD, or MS are used, and little technical training is required to start collecting data. The basics of using the LUMA™ will be discussed, including hardware information, software capabilities, and sample data gathered for various compound classes.
