Abstract:
This presentation will focus on the importance of understanding analysis chemistry in the never-ending quest to improve analytical data, while at the same time reducing laboratory operational cost. The problems associated with several methods will be mentioned and a serious look at the Bromine Number (D1159)/Bromine Index (D2710) tests will be examined. The benefits of technical changes that simplify execution of this method are presented and discussed.
