Abstract:
Analytical flash pyrolysis is just the beginning. Today, virtually any material including solids can be chemically characterized using the array of techniques that are designed into the modern-day, multi-mode micro-furnace pyrolyzer. Pyrolysis adds a new dimension to chromatography as a sample introduction technique for GC and GC/MS. Attendees will learn when and how to use different modes of operations in Pyrolysis-GC/MS technique, such as Evolved Gas Analysis, Thermal Desorption, Heart-Cutting, or Pyrolysis; all with the same system. Potential, new and existing users of Frontier Labs’ Multi-functional Pyrolyzer products are encouraged to attend. No prior experience needed.
