Marla Gilbert is an Analytical Technologist for Dow Inc. for 10 years. Before joining Dow, she was a high school chemistry teacher for 6 years. While working for Dow, she has developed numerous gas chromatography methods implemented in manufacturing product quality labs. She has overseen the implementation of methods in external manufacturers for Dow. She has worked with new technology: VUV™ detector, LUMA™ detector and the INTUVO™ 9000. She is Six Sigma yellow and green belt certified. She has been the recipient of the R& D Technologist of the Year award in Texas Operations.
