Deborah Phelps began her career at Dow in 2017 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in mathematics from the University of Houston. In 2022 she went on to earn a Master of Science from the Ohio University. Deborah is originally from Texas and returned to college after working in several different fields. She has always loved science and math, and chemistry is the ideal combination of those two. Deborah works in research and development and focuses on method development. She is passionate about analytical chemistry and her enthusiasm shows in all her work and presentations. In her free time, Deborah loves cooking, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family and fur babies, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a Scottish fold.
