Bill Welch graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. degree in Chemistry, minor in Mathematics, and later took graduate courses in Analytical Chemistry. He has expert knowledge of optical spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS), and other advanced analytical techniques. During his employment as Group Leader in a Research and Applications Department, he and his group produced 13 patent applications in optical spectroscopy concerning property measurements in conjugation with process control. In 2004 Bill founded Spectro- Intelligence LLC offering solution sales and services to the Petroleum, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries. He recently expanded the company’s portfolio to include another powerful solution solving tool, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).
