Abstract:
Laboratory organization in captured (plant, utilities) and commercial laboratories has changed over the last few years. Many laboratories are struggling to retain employees and improve morale. The new employee has changed in experience, goals, and loyalty. As employees change, many long-established laboratories struggle to keep them engaged and willing to stay. If, as a laboratory manager, you are providing training and investing time in new employees only to have them leave for greener pastures, this presentation is for you. There is hope for retention and longevity of the laboratory workforce. We will cover job descriptions, salary, promotions, training, and more. Attendees will learn how to strengthen and retain the existing and new workforce in the laboratory.
