CALL FOR PAPERS AND CALL FOR MODERATORS
Deadline for Submission: July 15, 2008

Presentations of various types, i.e. technical presentations, seminars, workshops, training courses, user group meetings and posters will be accepted by the Gulf Coast Conference.

The Following are requirements by the GCC for submissions. Please read the following:

1) < 100 word abstracts are required with the completed Call for Paper form. This will assist us in placing your presentation into a group of similar topics, which should help give you an audience with common interests.

2) If your presentation is accepted, you will be notified by email.

3) If your presentation is accepted, the GCC expects that you or your designee will make the presentation. Failure to appear or failure to reasonably notify GCC of a cancellation will result in sanctions against future presentations. In fairness to our members who may travel at great expense and time to hear your presentation, please adhere to the above requirements.

Call for Moderators:

 

This is an invitation for you to participate in the proceedings of the GCC. If you are selected as a moderator for a technical session your registration fee will be waived to the 2008 Gulf Coast Conference. If you are selected you will be notified by mail and your name and company will be listed in the 2008 program. The following are duties expected of our moderators:

(1) Check in at the Information Booth for any last minute instructions or changes.
(2) Attend your assigned session.
(3) Introduce the speaker and title of the presentation.
(4) Correct any audio visual aid failures. (Back up equipment will be available).
(5) Record the attendance at each presentation.
(6) Moderate questions and answers (if time allows). Keep on the specified schedule.
